3 Core Curriculum Recently, nursing education was reformed and a new core curriculum was developed. This included a revised curriculum for Yogo teachers. A group of university teacher training schools developed the new core curriculum for student Yogo teachers, as shown in Table 1. The numbers of students needing medical attention in schools is increasing. For example, aspiration-tube feeding and urethral catheterization are becoming more common in schools for children with special needs. Yogo teachers are required to administer this type of medical care.
